Title: The blue road

Archival print on 100%cotton rag paper

When I received the invitation to participate in 24 hours of Wonder exhibition, my first thought was of a new challenge, to create my work in 12” circle.

This encounter gave me a new and rewarding perspective.  My work usually does not contain curves as I work primarily with lines and geometric trapezoidal shapes, so it is by itself a “moment of discovery”.

Confining my geometric trapezoids into a circle and enclosing these textural images into a digital collage has created an image that reference a new road a new adventure.

The blue road represented by an off-center blue path crossing the image works as an indication of a new trajectory in search of an aperture to another territory.

I have been working with fragility related to borders, limits and territories, and this work has open a new vision in perspective in finding other solutions, literal and imaginary.
